Hi,
Our Domino server has about 4200 users. Now i want to generate a report (in Excel) on the users based on their client version and another report on users’ template version.
I see a view when i open names.nsf, People/by Client Version. But it shows some old data,like a user was earlier on Notes 7.0.2 and she has upgraded her Notes to 8.5.1 now. But it still shows the users in 7.0.2 category. Is there any way to get the right data? Rebuilding the view doesn’t help.
And also can i export the view (Domino Admin client’s file tab, Is it a view??)? Because it contains the info of the template versions of all the mail files.

You can easily export data in the Domino Administrator client (i.e. Files tab) using the “ACL Dominator” tool. It generates DB properties reports, ACL reports and mailbox reports including mailbox activity and DAOS size which can all be exported to Excel. There are other more technical ways to export it, but this is quick and simple with audit history including snapshots of settings in the past. Other ways include (1) starting Domino http task and issuing an XML server console commands, then remoting into Domino server to retrieve cryptic exported file, or (2) Printing Files tab using XPS or PDF, but the data cannot be copy/pasted and only prints the current root or folder rather than include all folders on the server.
