I am retrieving recurring occurrences using following lotus script functions & properties:
n = doc.GetItemValue(“RepeatFor”)
loop through n times and use
doc.GetItemValue(“RepeatDates”)(counter) which will return recurring occurrences.
this works fine but when I remove single instance from resource database, above code still retrieves all occurrences of the meeting including deleted occurrences.
I am using 6.5.3 where single document is being generated for recurring meeting scheduled using resource reservation database and hence I have to retreive using above logic.
How can I detect deleted occurrences of recurring meeting?
Subject: how to detect deleted occurrences of recurring meetings
For each repeating instance there is usally one or more response documents to the repeating parent note. So for each date you retrieve from ‘RepeatDates’ you could check the responses and see if the date is contained in them.
The ‘RepeatInstanceDates’ in each response document should contain the original date/time when the recurring series was first created so you can use this field for the data matching.
