How to Deploy Leap App to a different server which uses service access to Domino Databases

Hi,

I'm starting out with Leap dev and its looks like it will do what we require. Something I'm not so sure about is the dev/staging/production lifecycle deployment.

So I have put Leap onto our development server for initial proof of concept, and now will use that for actual dev work. The app we are developing has to use Domino databases, both read/write and Agent access. I note these databases have to be on the server Volt is on. So if I export the dev Leap to a production Leap server, how does Leap find these Domino databases? Is it purely by filepath? (this would make it easy to deploy production copies of said databases). I don't see any other config way of doing this, as you can't edit the database service from within Leap to make it point to another Domino database without creating the service from scratch.

Hi Damien,

It seems your question is for Domino Leap. In our HCL Domino Leap Forum , you may want to check this link below matched to your concern:

Hope this helps.

Yes I am talking about Domino Leap, didn't know there is another HCL product of Leap on its own. I did some tests on my own and it looks like Domino Leap apps refer to the external services by path, which makes it usable for our purposes.

Thank you for sharing this. Good to hear that Damien.

Cheers,

Jayve
