How to control Outlines via CSS in Notes Client?

I HAVE to use the same outline and page for both web and Notes. On the page it’s included on I have set the font to Default Sans 10, and included a style sheet. The style sheet affects the outline on the web, but not in the Notes Client. I have tried to put the outline in a table (both Table and TD elements are defined in the CSS) but that makes no difference in the Notes client either.

Is there really no way of controlling the looks of an outline in Notes via CSS? Am I forced to create another page with the outline specifically for the Notes Client?

CSS in the Notes client is somewhat limited.

As far as I know, there’s not a way to apply CSS to an outline in the Notes client. That’s inconvenient, but I don’t see why it means you need two outlines. Just make your one outline’s appearance match the CSS.

Even if you needed two outlines, you could easily put them in a single page, by using “Choose an outline based on a formula” checkbox.
