How to consume an RSS?

I have a site that will be “feeded” with an RSS from other site…is there any code already done about this?

if not… how should i do a “http” call to the other site using Lotus script?

Well, this is one way of doing it:

You could use the java URL class to connect to the site and download the RSS feed.

You would then have to parse through this to extract what you want. If it is a simple feed and this is a one-off, I’d just create specific extraction code instead of using an XML parser.

I just did a search on “RSS and Lotusscript” and found some references. A project on the OpenNTF site was mentioned by Stan Rogers. I looked into this and they are using the java classes too.
