Hi all,
I have a user with name A B, where A is the first name and B is the last name.
For some reasons , i have changed the the user’s name to C D using Administrator, as well as the internet address and shortname.
The user can receive emails using the new email address. But the name still showed as ‘A B’ instead of ‘C D’ when someone received the email from the user. How can i change the name?
I tried to rename the user using Administrator , under the Common Name, i keyed in the common name, but it keeps prompting “The specified language is unknown”, but there is no language options there for me to select!
Can someone help? Thanks
Subject: How to change the username of the user when you logon to Lotus Notes?
In C D’s mail file check Tools -->> PreferencesThis mail file belongs to:
Is this showing C D or A B
Also if you press F5 and then try and login is the password box saying
For User: C D or AB
If AB it signifies that the user has not accepted the name change

Hi,
The user has accepted the name changes. But the email sent out by him still showed the old user name instead the new user name. How to change the name?
I have successfully changed the name of the logon ID.
