How to change email address of mail account

hi

For example i have one mail account test@Garments.com.(Mail file is test.nsf) it waas useed last one year.

now management has decided to change that id like test.abc@garment.com (Mail file will be as it is test.nsf)

how can i change this address , pls help

I think you are able to achive the goal with 2 way:1. Just simply change the value of Internet Address field to test.abc@garment.com. But the old email address will invalid.

  1. You should add a new vaule, test.abc@germent.com, in the Full name field. This way will make the user has 2 email addresses. They are active at the same time.

Alex is correct, but I prefer using a different field in the Person Document, the Short Name field, for the additional internet address.

To review:

Open the Person Document for test@garment.com

Change the Internet Address field to test.abc@garment.com.

Add test@garment.com to the Short Name field.

Save and close the Person Document.
