How to capture the user input dates with layout

hi i have a

call ws.dialog(“date form”…)

When this code is run by agent “date form” with date field is opened in the layout region. i was able to enter the date.

But i need to capture this date value into a date object how can it be without saving the dateform .

check out SaveOptions field in designer help.

@SetField(“SaveOptions”; “0”) to prevent document from being saved.
