I have a user who everday logs into her computer and old remindes for things that have already happened continue to have pop up reminders. Where can I cancel these past items so that they won’t show anymore?

Assuming the user is clicking “Done”…And assuming the clock on the client machine is correct…
Sounds like the ($Calendar) view needs rebuilt. Ctrl + Sh + F9 will rebuild all views, including hidden ones, and should solve the problem.

Notes looks at the hidden Alarms folder ($Alarms) in the mailfile to determine when to display alarm notifications. You should check this folder to make sure it looks correct.
As also suggested try rebuilding all views / folders in the mailfile.
