I have custom forms with embedded OLE object in it and I need a send this form to the user account. The problem is that user could not have the form in his DB. So I can see the solution as to attach the form to the message. I found very simple function in the COM interface of Domino – IDocument.Send(bAttachform, pRecipients). I tried this and this works fine. But the problem is that our connector uses C API and I did not find such methods there. To send message we use NSFNoteUpdate function. So my question is how I can implement similar functionality to Send function using C API? What I tried is opening the form from DB then copying all fields from that form to a new message. But this doesn’t work. Doesn’t works mean no exceptions, function does not return any error but user never gets the message in his mailbox. Also after sending such a mail server stop working properly (delays on receiving emails) and finally after several hours crashed with error – DB is corrupted during sending the mails from any account. Now we installing latest updates to the Domino server. May be you have an idea what am I doing wrong and may be you know different way to how to attach the form.
