How to add audio player to a Domino web page

Hello All

I am looking for any information, demos advice etc… on adding an audio player to a website. Conversely if I had demo’s of my songs what would be the best way to allow visitors to my website hear the the songs.

Any help appreciated

Thanx James

Do a search on this forum on embedding Flash objects into Domino. It is fairly simple to embed a flash player into a Notes page but the tricky part will be referencing the files. I use one to control the background music that my client HAD to have in their web site. (I couldn’t convince them otherwise and oh how I tried). A place for a lot of Flash related info including links to free Flash mp3 players is Flash Kit Community Forums

The easiest way would be to create a database with a simple form that allows you to attach your mp3 files.

Then, create a view which would contain your documents which would allow users to acess them / download the attachments.

There are many other ways to skin this cat but this is the quickest / simplest.

Are you in a band?

That does sound like fun. I am in a band (not a composer - just a guitarist in a rock & roll band) and built a website (in domino) for posting our recent practices to share with band members as well as songs to work on.

I just used a simple form, an upload control, (to allow for uploading from the web) or you could use a rich text field if using the notes client. I added a submit button for saving new post via web. This also allows other band members to download and upload song ideas.

Overall, I say it took about an hour to build the form, view, frameset and pages - fun downtime project.
