How do you show the most ‘hits’ documents in a discussion database? Besides the full text search, is there another option → keyword search to show the popular documents???

I’m not sure what it is that you are trying to do. If you are trying to determine which document/s have been read the most then it depends on whether you are looking at it as a Notes Client or a Web client. If it is a Notes Client there have been several options suggested in this DB to hang some code on the QUeryOpen event of the form that updates a counter, or writes a transaction into another DB.The Web is a different issue though you could use the WebQueryOpen on the form to do something similar. However, there are other options.
