One user complains that there are someone who is sending mail with his mail account, because he sees mails sent apparently by him, but he hasn’t done it. So I suppose that someone has his notes id, a local replica or access to his web password. Do you know if it is possible to know from which desktop is sent a mail? ON the mail tracking I haven’t seen this information.
Subject: How do you know the workstation that has sent a mail?
You can see from the domino directory which machines have been used any ID. You should be able to see which PCs the ID file is being used on. It’s on the admin tab, “Notes client machine:”. Otherwise check the notes log for when the emails were sent.
Are the emails appearing in the users “sent items”, or is it just a normal case of spammed mail i.e. will be nothing to do with your domino setup?

You can also write a bit of code into your template, or just into this person’s mail file, so that the ip address and host name of the machine are recorded in hidden fields in each memo. Since they’re using a replica copy (or the same copy), they’ll get your design change.
