We upgraded our Domino R5 servers to 6. We now want to improve our TCO by reducing the storage we use for e-mail attachments by converting the attachments compressed using Huffman to LZ1.
Anyone got any ideas on how to do this.

Be careful if you have R5 workstations, or if your databases are accessed from Web. In these cases there will be continuous compression/decompression in the server side (R5 and web cannot read LZ1) and it will reduce the performance.
Maybe you can try compressing them into ZIP files… ZIP is far better than LZ1. See ZipMail at www.mk-net-work.com
