How do I setup a meeting that starts in the middle of one day and has an end time the following day?

Our Sales Director frequently schedules meetings for his staff that for instance could start at 12pm on a Monday and end at 2pm the next day.

Obviously they aren’t meeting for that entire period but in reality are meeting from 12pm-5pm on that Monday and then 9am to 2pm the next day.

When I try to setup such a meeting I get the following error, "Your start and end times result in a duration that is longer than 24 hours. Please check end date and time or Time Zone information.

He’d like to be able to setup these meetings without having to setup 2 separate meetings and thus inviting people to two diff meetings that in fact is only one.

Is there a way to do this or a workaround?

Thanks in advance.

Options one:

Send one meeting invite that repeats the next day? (Just different times)

Option two:

If the meeting was less that 24 hours you could try and trick the system by using another timezone. But the example you gave is 26 hours.

If instead it had been 1-5pm ET day 1 and 9-Noon ET day 2. You could book the meeting in Kazakhstan (which I think is 11 hours different) from Midnight to 11pm.

Of course that’s a really crazy way to try and work around it.

I’m trying to pursue the first option but how would I edit the time of the second day?

I setup day one meeting from 12pm-5pm on a Thursday and set it repeat the next day but the time will be 9am-12pm on the second day.

Am I missing something obvious?
