kony Visualizer 7.3. We were informed that on our next deployment, the target for our android app should be Android 8.0 (API level 26) or else, we wont be able to deploy our application. As you can see in attached file, the highest API level is 23 (Andriod 7). I already tried to update my sdk but did not increase the target in kony visualizer.
Add the latest compilesdk version, please use the androidprecompiletask.xml file which will add the compile sdk version dynamically. Please follow the below documentation link for your reference. http://docs.kony.com/konylibrary/visualizer/visualizer_user_guide/Default.htm#Inputs_to_Android_Application_Developers.htm
The support for same to select API 26 under project settings is given in latest 7.3.x plugins. Kindly use below mentioned respective hotfix URL and upgrade to latest Visualizer(IDE and its dependency plugins) and Android plugins.

In our case, since we could not upgrade or update our Kony Visualizer because if we update it, our set FFI will not work on updated Kony. Im still not sure on why the FFI is not working if we update it. So for us not to update it, our temporary workaround is that we have to add the following codes to precompile xml.
