On any database, how can you take away the design, so when somone goes to View- they will not see the design option…

I think it is just a matter of reducing the person’s access to any level below Designer.

You can also use the Notes.INI setting:

NoDesignMenu=1

This will hide the design menu from the menu bar altogether.
