How can I recover an erased file?

Good morning everybody,

I need a help from you please because one of my lotus clients have erased a backup of his database that was created to recover some space and now he needs the information of that database. Is there a way to recover this file, even if is not on the recycle bin?. I know that Windows aplications never erase the files at all and I’ve been trying a few softwares to recover the file with no luck.

I assume it was a local backup? I’ve had good luck with Recover 4 All (http://www.recover4all.com/), although I think you may need the Pro version for NTFS file systems.
