How can I import project archive on mac?

For reference, I'm on Kony Visualizer Enterprise Edition - Version 8 Service Pack 4 Fix Pack 62.

I followed the steps below and expected to able to click "Finish" but the button is still disabled after selecting the project file (a .zip).

  1. Open File > Import > Local Project > Open as New Project
  2. Select the radio button for "Select archive file:"
  3. Click browse
  4. Select my project archive file (note that the file browser UI component seems to rerender on any action/click)
  5. Click Open (several clicks required to proceed)

Expected Result:

To be able to click finish to complete the import process

Actual Result:

A message displayed at top of Import dialog read, "No Kony project is found to import". Also the Finish button is disabled.

Note: the errors shown in the attached video were likely triggered when I tried to workaround the issue by manipulating the path string (I tried using the windows slash, \, and double windows slash, \\ ).

Can you please unzip and check the folder structure of the project. Is there Kony project inside the .zip. If possible can you please share us the project to validate from our end.

Hey, @Twvcey Rvndvll​ thanks for the quick response. I've attached the project file I'm using. I'm confused because this project works as expected for windows users of Visualizer so far.

one more finding this morning, this doesn't seem to mac-specific. We were unable to import this project using a windows machine too. Perhaps its a corrupted archive? not sure how to check that

Shared .zip file doesn't have any valid Kony Visualizer application. .zip consist of multiple files and folder and it doesn't have the Visualizer project.

Thanks for the help. not sure how the file contents ended up like that. Its a project I received and was trying to test.

Can consider this resolved. 🙂
