DA gives you the ability to look up and resolve the addresses in the other domain’s NAB. To route the mail, you need to create connection documents between a server in your domain and a server in the other domain.
(This is based on my interpretation, from your original post, that the new domain is a Notes domain. If that’s wrong, you’ll need to install a connector/gateway to route the mail – but the DA part is still the same.)
