How can I display year-month in script

I need to display the year onad month only, 2007-Feb

I have used this format but it gives me too much info,

how can I get only what I need.

In lotusscript you can use the Year and Month functions. They both return integers so you will need to convert the month to the text that you wish to display.

I don’t see that the format function gives me the month as January…etc. It gives me the number of the month. Right?!

I wasn’t aware of this function but looking at the help file it is possible. Look at the Custom date/time formatting codes section.

Format(YOURDATE, “yyyy-mmmm”)

or

Format(YOURDATE, “yyyy-mmm”)
