Hourly full text index shuts down Domino

Problem:New installation of Domino 6/6.5 seems to run normal until it runs the hourly full text index, where domino server shuts down. Any suggestions?

Background info:

The staging of migration process I performed:

  1. Clean up the Domino 5 Data Directory from old and unused databases

  2. Copy that Data Directory to new server

  3. Install Domino 6.0.3 or 6.5 with Data Directory pointing to recently copied files.

  4. Setup Domino Server and start it

Check nchronos file exists in your Lotus\Domino directory or not. If it is not there run the installation again.

I tried compacting the databases, removing all the ft and i am sure there was a nchronos file. Nothing works.

that you delete all FT indexes from the OS level when the server is down and let the FT indexer re-create them.
