Hi folks,

I am currently building a holiday db. One of the aspects of the db is that when a submitter requests a holiday it is then “approved”, the requested holiday is sent to the 'approved view 'in conjunction with the requestors id and calculates the total amount of days hols they have had so far (i.e. doc collection of hols and calculates). If I wanted to delete/cancel any one of these hols and recalculate the hols, should I be using an action button in the action bar of the view ‘approved’ which gets that view, doc collection, etc and recalculates the hols or were should I be carrying out this action…Also, how do you delete that particular document?? If anyone can point me in the right direction or give me any help I would be most gratefull…thanks!

Leaves for a Employee

Sick Leave =5

Casual Leave=5

You can update the Sick Leave or Casual Leave , only when the Request the Approved , but not when rejected.

Hi Mahesh,

I’m sure you’re fully understanding what i’m trying to do. The request will always be approved at this stage and already sitting in the view as a doc. If for some reason it needs to be canceled/deleted at a later date, how do I update another view which holds the details on the calculated amount of days hols to emulate this change/deletion/calculation.
