History field not updated if document being refreshed

I created a history field with the following formula, which is computed,but no history is captured if the document is being refreshed, how to achive this yeah? tq.

@If(@IsDocBeingSaved; @If(FieldHistory = “”; @Text(FieldA); @Text(FieldA) : @If(@Elements(B_CCtre) >9; @Subset(FieldHistory; 9); FieldHistory)); @IsNewDoc; “”; FieldHistory)

If I’m reading this correctly, your formula says that if the doc is saved then do something interesting, otherwise leave the field contents alone. A refresh is not the same thing as a save, so the field shouldn’t change.

i want history to be recorded, the moment document is edited, be it upon refresh, save or replacing field value.

will @isdocBeingEdited will capture history if i updated the document using ageng, eg: FieldA:=“test”, will the history field being updated as well?
