We just discovered that the hidewhen property does not work on richtext fields in R6. This worked correctly in R4 and R5.
Our form has multiple richtext fields which users may enter a pagebreak to format large proposal documents. Has anyone else seen this problem?
Subject: I have known this problem in R5 too …
If there’s just a bit of text in the RT-field, it works correctly, but when there’s a bit more in it, it doesn’t hide, or only patialy…I have no solution…
I would be interested too if someone had!
Subject: In what way is it “not working”?
Hide-whens in rich text can be very tricky, so I just want to make sure that this is really a version issue and not simply a misunderstanding of how rich text can store hide-whens internally.

The empty fields should be hidden, but they are visible and can be accessed in edit mode. When viewing or printing the document, we have several blank lines.
We simply loaded the database on an R6 server, so everything is the same. On R5 the empty richtext fields are hidden - application works perfectly. On R6 the richtext fields, although empty, are showing. Thanks for your response.

No. There is, however, a table below each richtext field with hidewhen properties that work correctly.
