Hide computed text using javascript

Hello,

I want to hide computed text using javascript, both in web and in Notes client.

How can I do that?

Could somebody help me?

What is going to trigger the hide? If you are using Javascript I can only assume that it would be when the user changes something in a field/input?

If so then you can use CSS classes with visibility:hidden, surround your computed text with DIV tags of an ID that you specify and then use Javascript (onBlur for example) on the field to trigger the change.

I posted some example code for this about 2 weeks ago…

Thanks for your reply Melissa.

You’re right : a user’s clik on a button is going to trigger the hide.

I have seen your example code. You use “document.getElementById(id)” but in notes client, I get an error : document.getElementById is not a function.

I’m a very newbie in javascript so, perhaps, I haven’t really understood your example.
