Hide all Toolbars will not stay unchecked

I recently re-installed my Notes client (9.0.1) and now I am unable to uncheck the ‘Hide All Toolbars’. I can go to View, Toolbars, uncheck ‘Hide All Toolbars’ and my toolbar appears and I can use it. However as soon as I switch to another Notes application the toolbar disappears and the ‘Hide All Toolbars’ is checked again.

You were right, Tom, it was the theme. I had been using the Notes 8 theme. I switched to the Notes 9 Social theme and I then got the “show toolbars only when editing” option. I unchecked it and switched back to my Notes 8 theme and it’s working fine now.

Subject: Hide All Toolbars

I don’t have the “Show Toolbars Only When Editing” option. It goes right from “Widgets” to a separator line and then “Hide All Toolbars”.

I have another PC with version 9.0 installed and it also does not have the “Show Toolbars Only When Editing” option, but at least it lets me uncheck the “Hide” option and it stays that way.

Check “Show Toolbars Only When Editing” is checked.

Also File > Preferences > Toolbars in your client … there is a setting there

Could also be related to the theme in use …
