i am having two fields on the form. both are having formula as @dbcolumn. when i keep them not hidden then i don’t have any error. but as i make them hidden under hidden section(from web & notes), i get error that firstfield.value is null or not an object.
how do i remove this error?

Javascript is not able to read fields when you click on hide from web browsers so create a hidden div layer and put the field in it like

hii used the style u specified. it is ok for existing document. it’s creating problem to me when document is new.

i am using this firstfield & second field values to hide some fields on onchange event of combobox field.

if you are using a field as a key for the lookup you need to have the field before the lookup and that the field will have an initial value

make sure you check the “Generate HTML for all fields” box in the form properties (second tab)
