I am trying to Install SSL certificates which we have purchased for our 2 domino Servers.I have setup the Server Certificate Admin database, created a Key Ring,(copied the 2 files up to the server) completed a SCR. pasted this to the CA authority website etc - recieved a validated certificate and attempted to merge/install the certificates
back into the Keyring
When testing the SSL with an online SSL (provided by the CA) errors display which indicate that I have old/invalid certificate
which need deleting on the server. I cannot see any that match (expriration dates/types etc)with the Server Certificate Admin database.
There was originally a previousy failed keyring file setup on the server from a previous admin but I have know knowledge of the passwords
that were used to created this old keyring (a few year old and SSL never implemented) so have no way of accessing this.
Is it OK to simply delete the Server Certificate Admin database, and setup again blank with a new Keyring
(removing the keyfiles from the server) and start the process againh or are there other areas eg within the Domino Directory where old cerificates
should be purged, is this a simple delete action, or can I do via AdminP.
