If need some kind of help in a domino development tasks I can help you (FOR FREE!!), if you help me to improve my enghish, because is not good (conversation).I am looking for a enviroment (full time) where I can talk e listen in enghish all the time, for the next 3 months.

I have 9 years of experience with Notes/Domino (Formulas, LotusScript, HTML, XML, javascript, etc)

Certifications:

Lotus R4/R5/R6 PCLP

Lotus R5 CLI

Microsoft MCSE

Novell CNE

Others IBM certifications

No.I don’t want a job. I’m just looking for a easy way to learn english and have something to do (something like a volunter).

Can I have a contract ou insurance by my self, to solve this problem ?

Anyway, I still looking for a Domino developer environment. I think that can be a workaround to avoid this (liability issues), at my expense.

Try the Lotus Notes Residency volunteer programe. It lasts for a few weeks and is a great opportunity to both learn and enhance your resume

Hi Leo,Unfortunaly, I dont have the basic requerements to apply for this:

“A basic requirement for all residents is the ability to read and clearly express concepts and procedures in common English”

and I need find a place near here (NJ, NYC).

I was thinking about a very small company, ou a contractor ou a garage based company (Independent Sole Proprietor ?).

I want find a place where I can be very usefull.

Since you are looking to work for free, I assume you should be able to find it. Present yourself as an intern, search for small consulting firms on the web via keywords such like IBM, Lotus Notes, Partner, etc…Write to them and tell them what you have got and how you can help.

Take a look at municipalities as well – a lot of the municipal software packages (taxation, assessment, water) are AS/400-based, which led a lot of even smallish municipalities to become Lotus desktop shops. Many of them use Notes, and may be using Domino for volunteer-based outreach programs and so forth. If you can land spot with a literacy or ESL organisation, you may be able to kill a lot of birds with a small number of stones.
