HCL Notes 14 doesn't start after reinstall under MacOS Sequoia

I upgraded my MacBook Pro M3 to MacOS Sequoia and then did a reinstall of Notes 14FP2.

Now the Notes Client doesn't start anymore.

Currently, you have installed Notes client 14.0FP2 on the mentioned system with MacOS Sequoia without any issues, but you were unable to start the Notes client.

However, since the release of MacOS Sequoia is a recent one (September 16, 2024), HCL Support has not yet tested the compatibility of HCL notes on MacBook with MacOS Sequoia. As a result, the documentation and system requirements have not been updated.

For the system requirements of HCL Notes 14.0FP2, you can refer to the following article for future updates:

There is a possibility that the Notes client support will be certified for Apple MacOS Sequoia in a future release.

Good day.
For initial troubleshooting you can rename Expeditor folder under (~/Library/Application Support/IBM Notes Data/Expeditor) then check the issue.

If same issue occurs, Kindly refrain other user's on upgrading to MacOS Sequoia as HCL Support has not yet tested the compatibility of HCL Notes on this OS.

This issue has been already reported to our development team through SPR # AYAVD778QH.

The workaround is to restart the client again and it works.

We will update the above article with the exact fix release very soon. Also, we will update the above technical documentation once the bug is fixed.

I had to rename the Expeditor folder and then start Notes twice.

Every time I close Notes I have to start it twice then it works.
