We’re excited to announce the availability of Code Drop 3 in the HCL Domino 14.5 Early Access Program — your final opportunity to explore, test, and provide feedback before our official launch in June 2025!
This latest drop introduces new capabilities designed to make Domino smarter, simpler, and more secure for IT admins and business users alike. Whether you’re an administrator, developer, or end-user, this build brings enhancements across the stack — all focused on boosting productivity, security, and manageability.
Here’s a look at the standout features now available for testing.
Domino IQ
Key capabilities added include:
- Integrated Llama Server (via NVIDIA): Built-in support for running your own private AI inferencing servers using Llama models.
- Remote OpenAI-Compatible Endpoints: Connect to remote AI servers using any OpenAI V1-compatible API, offering flexibility for hybrid AI deployments.
This opens the door to private and secure AI use cases while maintaining data residency and compliance.
Domino License Dashboard
Introducing the new Domino License Administration (DLA) database: dominodla.nsf
- View and manage your license usage across servers with a centralized dashboard.
- Gain insights into active users, assigned licenses, and optimize compliance reporting.
This is part of our effort to bring greater transparency and control to license management for Domino administrators.
Smarter Notes with Domino IQ
In the Notes client, Domino IQ brings practical AI into the inbox:
- Summarize Emails: Quickly understand long messages with intelligent summarization.
- Reply Suggestions: AI-assisted draft replies help you respond faster and more efficiently.
These features are designed to save users time and reduce email fatigue—especially in high-volume inbox environments.
Traveler APNs Authentication Update
We’ve made a key improvement to how HCL Traveler communicates with Apple Push Notification service (APNs):
- No more managing .p12 certificates! Authentication is now token-based, removing the need to renew certificates every year.
This change dramatically reduces the administrative burden for IT teams.
Try It Now — We’re Almost There
