HCL Digital Experience 9.5 Container Update and CF 226 (All Versions)

  • Presentation Designer - Canvas settings- New Canvas settings are available in Presentation Designer to support configuration of various aspects of the presentation such as canvas dimensions, direction, zoom level, and orientation.

  • DXClient - TLS certificate validation changes – Validate and trust custom certificates such as self-signed or third-party CAs

HCL Digital Experience 8.5 and 9 versions

  • Extended Support option now available for DX versions 8.5 and 9.0 – Customers who may not be able to update from DX versions 8.5 and 9.0 version 9.5 by June 30, 2025 can sign up for an Extended Support option. The Extended Support option will be offered from June 30, 2025 until June 30, 2026.
  • Automatically apply 9.5 from a later CF installation – Administrators can speed upgrading to the latest DX 9.5 version from V8.5 & 9 using the CF Update process, now set as the default (configurable) setting.

HCL Digital Experience 9.5 Container Update and CF 226 (K8s deployments)

  • DAM - New parameter for access control – A new parameter is available to enable or disable creating collections for users assigned the Editor role.
  • People Service and Search V2 integration - Integrate People Service with Search V2 to enhance user discoverability and search performance. With this integration, you can access user profile data with real-time synchronization.

HCL Digital Experience Compose 9.5 CF 226 (K8s deployments)

HCL Digital Experience Compose v9.5 CF226 adds the new capabilities available with DX CF 226 Container update, and:

  • Documentation for using custom certificates - This topic provides the steps on how to add custom certificates to the WebEngine server configuration through the Helm values.yaml file.

    • DX Compose software now available in Harbor - Customers with entitlements to HCL Digital Experience Compose 9.5 may access the DX Compose container images and Helm charts from the HCL container repository on Harbor.

  • Documentation for using Docker Compose - Developers can access guidance to deploy HCL DX Compose 9.5 for non-production purposes using Docker Compose.

  • Search V2 enabled by default - Search V2 is now enabled for DX Compose in HCL DX Compose Deployment Helm chart.
