HCL Digital Experience 8.5 and 9 versions
- Extended Support option now available for DX versions 8.5 and 9.0 – Customers who may not be able to update from DX versions 8.5 and 9.0 version 9.5 by June 30, 2025 can sign up for an Extended Support option. The Extended Support option will be offered from June 30, 2025 until June 30, 2026.
- Automatically apply 9.5 from a later CF installation – Administrators can speed upgrading to the latest DX 9.5 version from V8.5 & 9 using the CF Update process, now set as the default (configurable) setting.

- Search V2 - Styling customizations – Site designers and developers can optionally customize Search V2 results rendering by providing custom CSS modules

HCL Digital Experience Compose v9.5
HCL Digital Experience Compose v9.5 is new a lightweight, fast performing, cloud–only digital experience platform for delivering content-centric and transactional experiences. DX Compose includes a core container called WebEngine that is built on the Open Liberty platform and operates on Certified Kubernetes platforms. This architecture supports fast startup and execution times to deliver high-performance DX sites, and is capable of using the latest Java Development Kit (JDK) and Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) levels.

HCL Digital Experience Compose 9.5 CF 225 (K8s deployments)
- Upgrade to the latest DX Compose 9.5 CF – Administrators can now upgrade their Kubernetes deployment to the latest DX Compose v9.5 CF using Helm.
- Custom PVCs – Administrators can configure additional Persistent Volume Claims (PVCs) for the DX Compose WebEngine stateful set and set their locations in the deployment.
- Update the DX Compose deployment URI - Instructions for changing the default WebEngine Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) after installing HCL DX Compose are now available
- Digital Data Connector (DDC) support – Site designers and developers can now use the Digital Data Connector to integrate data and services and present to target audiences
- User session tracking and reporting - Administrators can configure user session consumption tracking In DX Compose deployments, and export reports for specified time periods*.*
- OIDC authentication – Administrators can configure an OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity provider for authentication to DX Compose
- Initial DX Compose performance tuning - Documentation for tuning the initial DX Compose performance is now available, with pointers to Helm charts with these settings that are included.
- Additional New features – DX Compose also includes new features Adjustment of seedlists for access control changes, DXClient – LiveSync for Presentation templates, and Search V2 Styling customizations outlined in the Digital Experience CF225 updates section above.
HCL Leap 9.3.8
- Leap 9.3.8 is now available with new features and updates. These include new APIs, conditional groups for use with the Rules engine, User session tracking using Volt Foundry reports, and enhancements to the BasicCredentialsProvider delivering additional customization options for Leap applications and management.
