i have doubt in JDBC setup.

so far I know the validation happens on the Deployment Manager. Do you see any error-messages in the SystemOut.log of the Deployment Manager when you try to validate the connection to the database? Do you get any error on that validation page? If so which error is shown?
Which jdbc-driver do you use and does this driver also match your Java version?
What happens, when you install a db-client on the same server and try to connect to the database server. Does this work?
You can also give it a try and enable j2c/transaction traces on the Dmgr to find out more. For details, please check:

- Is your DB2 server up and running ? you're db server is was.lauren.com ? is that server pingable ?
- Did you use the dbwizard to create the databases?
- is the port 50'000 the correct port of your db2 instance and is it open on your windows firewall ?
- are you able to connect to the db2 server homepage or peopledb ? for example with dbeaver ?
