Hello,

I have an question to modify the language files for HCL Connections - XCC, and did not find any solution in the documentation. Maybe someone has already the same problem.

In HCL Connections you have the Highlights App, there is it possible to add Widgets and Apps, If you want to modify this name, this could be done in XCC with an language file.

For widgets you need only to modify an entry like:

widgetType_myFiles" : "My Files",

But I did not find any examples, how you could do this for apps. In the xcc-template.json is no example of an apps name modification. So maybe this modification in on a other place?

Thank you for the question. Unfortunately, I think you may be running into a product limitation. If you do not have full entitlement to Connections Engagement Center, you will not be able to modify strings within the Highlights app. Please see the following enhancement request:

thanks for your answer, and do you know, how could I modify in an Connections Engagement Center the titel of an App? Because I found it at the moment only for an Widget.

Text modification for what the Highlights app displays is possible but only with the full Engagement Center entitlement. Do you have full entitlement to Engagement Center, or are you only interacting via the Highlights app?

no, at the moment only the standard via the Highlights App.

But in general I am interested to know here the solution with the full Engagement Center. Then could this be tested on a test system, or on a other customer system, who has the full Engangement Center.
