hello all.
We are planning to upgrade our servers to Notes 8.5.1 this weekend and I was wondering if anyone here had done the upgrade with Cisco Unity in your environment and the DUC Server component already installed. We are currently on version 7 and I am just trying to avoid any issues going forward. My users will still be using Notes 7 clients after the upgrade, so I want to make sure I don’t screw everything up.
Any experiences/advice greatly appreciated.

Subject: Re: Has anyone upgraded to Notes 8.5.1 and use Cisco’s DUC client? Anything to watch out for?
Brandt,
We had DUCS 1.2.5 running on Domino 8.0.1 (Windows 2003). We upgraded to Domino 8.5.1FP2 without any problem.
Our users are still on Notes 6.5.5.

Subject: LDAP error Message with DUCS
Hello,
we migrated yesterday to Domino 8.5.1 and when LDAP task is starting appears the next messages:
LDAP Schema: Form name ‘fa_UnityLocation’ in the names.nsf design is not a valid LDAP ObjectClass name because it includes illegal character(s).
LDAP Schema: Form name ‘sa_CSUnityDLSubform’ in the names.nsf design is not a valid LDAP ObjectClass name because it includes illegal character(s).
LDAP Schema: Form name ‘sa_CSUnityUserSubform’ in the names.nsf design is not a valid LDAP ObjectClass name because it includes illegal character(s).
I found only this technote (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=463&context=SSKTMJ&dc=DB560&dc=DB520&uid=swg21382501&loc=en_US&cs=UTF-8&lang=en&rss=ct463lotus) but, I think is not exactly the same problem…
ps: for the moment, DUCS is working well.
Any ideas?
thanks in advance
