Has anyone tried integrating Domino with Calendly ? Is it possible with 12.x API?

Hi team.

Hope you're all doing great and having a great week.

Has anyone tried integrating Domino with Calendly (https://calendly.com/) or any other similar solution ?

Is it possible with 12.x API ?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Sincerely,

Elvis.

That is a great question Elvis, our firm was wandering the same. This is definitely a feature which needs to be implemented. Microsoft Bookings would be another similar service.

Looking forward to replies to this thread.

Hi @Elvis E. Henriquez A. Since Sametime 11.5 Chat and Meeting is up and running. You can invite directly from your calendar.

Meetings provides end-users with a complete chat and meetings solution through an elegant and functional user experience. End-users can:

-Start instant meetings from the Sametime home page or chat window.
-Invite others by sharing the Meeting URL via any medium.
-Use voice, video, and screen sharing with a click of a button.
-Broadcast and record meetings.
-Experience fast performance through WebRTC technology.

There is also a new feature called DOMI (HCL Domino Online Meeting Integration) on v12.0.1, but this does no include Calendly. More information can be found below:

Hi @Sandeep Pandey .

Thank you very much for your response / suggestion.

DOMI works fine.

Sametime service is good.

But neither provides the feature requested.

Calendly (among others) is a service that integrates with calendar services (like Google Calendar and Microsoft 365) in order to provide to third parties (external users) availability and booking capabilities.

If you offer, for example, TI Support Services with remote assistance, you send your customers a calendly link (which was previously setup and integrated with your mail/calendar service) and your customers will be able to view your available time and book a meeting / session with you (which would create the meeting invite including the remote session service, which could be WebEx, Zoom, Teams, etc.)

Such integration is done via API calls.

That's what we would expect to be done with Domino 12.0x API.

Would that be possible ?

But, I'll go and take your initial response and develop it in the corresponding forum, hoping that: Having Sametime 11.6 fully integrated with Domino, would Sametime 11.6 API offer the same integration capabilities with calendly-like services ?

Sincerely,

Elvis.

Hi.

Just an update:

Here's the Sametime forum post:

I built a database on my domino server that acts like calendly. Each night it polls your calendar to block any new blocks of time already booked. You can check it out at ZoomDavidk.com

Hi.

It looks amazing.

Hi everybody.

This is accomplished by OnTime, which will be included by default in V14.
