Handling iCalendar file(.ics file) with Notes client

Have anybody tried access iCalendar file directly by double clicking on the file in Windows?

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you, Alan. I’m not sure if I can open the iCalendar file by double clicking on it rather than dragging and dropping.

This is something that customers have been seeking from the time IBM advertised Lotus Notes support for iCalendar standard.

I have searched the Notes 6.5.2 Help databases for information on the following Action Menu items

iCalendar Import

iCalendar Export

iCalendar Profile

iCalendar Scan

support and found none. I think IBM have missed a golden opportunity to advertise how much support they provide for iCalendar.

Even the Notes 6.5 marketing material does not highlight the enhancements in this support.
