Hi All, I have a Linux operating system. And I want to installed Lotus Notes domino server as well as Lotus Client.
In other machine I have windows 2000 Operating system.And in this machine’s Lotus Server and clients are working well.
Can any body tell me that Can we installed the same Domino Server CD in Linux.
or Other type of Domino server I have to buy for Linux.
Please guide me.

there are separate installation CDs available for linux. And as far as i know notes client software in not available for linux. though u can use the browser on a linux box to achieve more or less the same functionality. but if u want notes client in that case u’ll have to install notes client on some windos machine and connect it to the server on the linux box.
this can be done thru the Http task of domino server and does not require samba. Remember no resource sharing will be available between linux and windows as in u will not be able to move files between linux and windows
there is a red book available that details the installation procedure for domino on linux. u can consult that
