I do apologize for not doing some research before making my post and being a burden if the question has been asked prior. I am just so overwhelmed. I scoured the Help Files to no avail. I may not even be in the correct User Forum. Please direct me accordingly. Onto my question:
We use Lotus Notes 6.5.1 here at work and I am just an end user with hardly any development rights except for what is installed. I am trying to perform a task using my Visual Basic skills and just need some guidance/direction. With this guidance I will try do all my own research and learning and implement but I may make another post for some help if required.
Task: Can I create something using @Commands or perhaps LotusScript by which when I send an email it will automatically tack on a Random message. We have several marketing blurps which I would like to append on every outgoing email but I don’t want the same one everytime…it should pick one randomly. There could be about 20 such message (blurbs) consisting of no more than maybe 2 or 3 sentences at most (15-75 words)
Is this possible? What would be the overall strategy? I’ll use this guidance and try to code/develop it.
