when searching for @ in the notes client, following error is reported in the client and the log.nsf:
GTR search error for “e:\data\FMS.ft\ftgi”: Work area overflown due to many hits. Error-Number=299: Full text eror;
Why does the error occure and can it be prevented?

we have the same error.
I also read the (possible) solution in the other thread not to use semicolons or something like this in the search string.
However, this database isn’t searched by anyone, at least not by a person.
The affected database, mtstore, has a 900 MB full text index. Might that be the problem?
