Groupsheild 5.3 and 6.5.1 - server crash

I have been running groupsheild along with R5 for ages with no problem. However when i upgraded the server to 6.5.1 the server has become very unstable and is crashing over 3 times a day.

if i check the server logs it is always groupshield is the last thing running.

the error message that somtime appears is “failed to terminate one or more scan threds”.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the groupsheilds as sagested in some post i have found on here but this has not worked.

Without knowing the exact problem I can tell you that you have to get a GS 5.x specific for Domino 6 series. Check with McAfee for an update.

thanks for the comments, I have checked on Mcafee website and groupsheilds 5.3 is suppost to be supported with 6.5.1 but erery crash i have had groupsheilds has been the cause. this has been happening for a while now .
