Grand Totals in a View

I’ve read through many topics in the forum, but still can’t find a way to hide the grand total in a view.

I have several views that have more than one field categorized. For instance, in a time tracker, the first categorized field is the week ending date, the second categorized field is the employee. I’d like to show totals for each employee per week, but not show a grand total for all employees. Any ideas?

Subject: Grand Totals in a View

Hi all.

Problem: You have a categorized column with a total on it. You use Readers fields in your documents and users can only see their own docs in that view. However, the grand total at the bottom of the column shows the total of all documents.

Solution: Use the following formula in the total column - modified to fit your fields. I use it to toal attachments.

tsum := @Sum(@AttachmentLengths);

sum := @If(@IsError(tsum); 0; tsum);

@If(@IsNotMember(Readers;@Name([CN];@UserName));0;sum)
