Getting replication error on console - Attempting to write invalid timedate to replication history of D:\Notes\data\xxxx\txx.nsf: 10/18/**** 11:25:02 PM

I am getting an error message on replicating between a 8.5 and 8.0.2 FP1 Domino server.

The error is (replaced xxx with path and file name)

Attempting to write invalid timedate to replication history of D:\Notes\data\xxx\xxx.nsf: 10/18/**** 11:25:02 PM

I have tried to pull a new server replica but still get the error. I have cleared the history on the replicas of both servers but still get the error. The time and date on both servers is correct and about the same.

Anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

thanks,

Howard

Since I delete all entries (****- 12-18 22:06:44) in the all historic of names.nsf I did not see the problem.

Subject: More information on this problem

We are receiving the same invalid timedate error at the console when we try to create replicas and have narrowed it down to the following situation:

  1. You recieve the error if you try to create the replica from your client rather than creating it using adminp Create Replica or Move processes

  2. You ONLY receive the error if you are using an 8.02 client. It works fine if I use an 8.5 client

  3. Despite the error the process of creating the error actually works.

So I’m guessing it’s a flaw in the 8.02 client itself, that’s been corrected in 8.5? Anyone else found out anything more?

Subject: *I was using Notes 8.5

Subject: Same problem

We are receiving the same invalid timedate error at the console with the names.nsf.

I using Notes and Domino 8.5 and we use the translog.

Is there a solution for this problem?

Thanks

Replication between 2 servers in cluster.

No error in repl history, it seems without problem.

The date in message is nonsense date, months ago (or future?).

Clearing replication history on both replicas the problem still exists.

Ran “lo fixup -f -j mail/xxx” AND clearing replication history the problem remain.

The problem is only on one server.
