Getting ALL embedded objects in a document?

I am trying to simulate Launch first attachment using Lotus Script. I pretty much have the launching part worked out but I can’t seem to get all the attachments in the document.

NotesDoument.HasEmbeddedObjects returns true but NotesDocument.EmbeddedObjects has not attachments.

The attachments only appear in the EmbeddedObjects array of the field where they are attached.

I would really like to write the code in such a way that it is portable and I don’t need to worry about the field names.

I am guessing there is no way to get all of the attachments without using the field name but I thought I would ask.

If this is the case then what value is HasEmbeddedObjects? Isn’t it misleading?

Hi Bruce,

you have to name the fields but it’s working well–

Hi both

You may scan all item too:

e.g.

forall it in doc.items

…

end forall
