Full Text Search on PDF files

Hi experts,I have an Notes application with a lot of attachments (Word files and PDf’s). For some reason it is not possible to get the PDF’s full text indexed, so that they may be searched. I’m using Domino 6.5 on Linux Release 6.5.

If I use the full text indexer on the client on Windows 2000, then it works fine !

Can someone tell me what the necessary conditions are to get the job done on the server, or else can someone from IBM/Lotus confirm this cannot be achieved ?

I appreciate any comment very much, as this is a showstopper for my project.

On the server PDFs must be in PDF 1.3 oder 1.4 format vor 6.x servers. See bottom of technote #1137802 “What Types of Attachments are Supported by the Full Text Indexer in Notes/Domino 6.x?”(http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&uid=swg21137802)
