I thought Domino 8.0.2 for Windows 32 bit English was suppossed to be using KeyView version 10.4.0.0 and therefore capable of indexing Microsoft Office 2007 documents such as the Microsoft Word 2007 docx attachments.
I have upgraded a server to Domino 8.0.2, recreated the full text index on a mail database containing both Word 2003 doc and Word 2007 docx attachments. Searches for text in the attachments still are only returning the emails with the doc attachments and not the docx attachments.

I’m seeing similar problems on 8.5.2 - PDF and docx attachments not indexed but doc and txt attachments work. Full text indexing works as expected when the index is on a local db.
