When I write an email and send it through SMTP to someone else the sender address appears with
“FriendlyName” address@domain.com
Sent by: address@domain.com
I’ve checked the Calendarprofile and it is alright. The mail is send with the right UserID.
The Problem only appears when I define the Internetaddress in the location document with a friendly name “FriendlyName” address@domain.com
In all the other domains this works fine.
The mail leaves the domino server correctly.
The sent by: field appears only at the receipients site (tested more than one).
This happens to every user from this domain.
The route is Notes - Linux - Internet
Might there be a misconfiguration at the linux server?
