We have seen instances where a Foundry Service was deleted after a Windows upgrade. We’ve observed it so far after upgrading Windows Server 2016 → 2019, and Windows 10 → Windows 11.
You can proactively avoid this by exporting the Foundry service from the registry before the upgrade, and importing it back once the upgrade is done.
Ex: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\VoltMXFoundry10_SVC
